Its official, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will take on the Army Black Knights at the New Yankee Stadium in 2010 in what will be one of the most anticipated college football games in a long time. It will also be the first game played at the New Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. And it should be a really fun time for everyone that gets Notre Dame Army Yankee Stadium tickets. The game will be a home game for Notre Dame. The Army Notre Dame game has historic significance, and big Yankee fans know that the game was a staple at the original Yankee Stadium every year from 1925 – 1946. In 1946 Army was the #1 ranked team and Notre Dame was #2. The last time we saw an Army Notre Dame game at Yankee Stadium was in 1969.
